Mike grew up in the Metro-Detroit area of Michigan and comes from a multi-generational family of police officers and firefighters dedicated to serving their communities.  Mike began his career in retail, and quickly learned that while he enjoyed working in the service industry, he had a desire for something more.

In 2006, Mike moved to Texas and became a police officer with an agency in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  Over the years, Mike has steadily advanced from a rookie patrol officer to sergeant to lieutenant.  During his career in law enforcement, Mike has continually worked to develop skills in organization, communication, negotiation, and leadership.

As fulfilling as police work is for Mike, his desire to better provide for his family while continuing to be able to help others led him to the field of real estate.  Mike became a licensed real estate agent it 2014.  Initially his goal was to assist those in public service communities with their home buying and selling needs.  However, as word got around about the quality of service he was providing his clients, he realized that he was going to need some assistance, as he was still working as a police officer.  That is when his wife, Martina Worley, became a licensed agent and they formed The Worley Team.

In 2021, Mike obtained his broker's license and with Martina's encouragement, Worley and Associates Realtors was formed.  The brokerage operates on the principles of providing impeccable customer service and building lasting relationships with their clients.  From first contact to closing, they desire to use their experience and knowledge--along with timely communication throughout the transaction--to help you see that they truly care about you and your home.
